Spearheading the vision of CREATE [SPACE] is founder and CEO, Courtney Neal. The thrill of making something from nothing is what drives Courtney’s passion as a content producer, but it is her innate creativity that fuels her journey as a budding visionary. 

 

During her studies at The Pennsylvania State University, Courtney completed an immersive internship at SiriusXM Radio’s HITS 1 Station, where she was the first to implement social media and digital video best practices that resulted in a 30% lift in user interactions and subsequently modified the way the station shared off-air content. Upon earning her degree in Broadcast Journalism, Courtney swiftly relocated to Los Angeles where she began working at Disney / ABC Television Group generating supplemental online content in support of the network’s tentpole programming such as Blackish and Grey’s Anatomy. 

 

Thereafter, Courtney desired a path that would not only speak to her deep-seated love for Hip Hop culture but also enhance it, leading her to REVOLT Media & TV. Previously serving as an Executive Producer of Multi-Platform Video at REVOLT TV, Courtney conceptualized and crafted numerous programs on the network’s digital and on-air platforms amassing millions of views worldwide.  Courtney has since led the creative production on projects for Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Youtube Studios.

Currently serving as the Editor-In-Chief at KYRA Media Courtney leads a team of content producers, writers, and creators to reimagine the business landscape of digital publishing. It’s no secret that traditional print and broadcast media have been on a steady decline over the past decade — which spurred her to lean into cultivating “Social Publishing” strategy.  Under Courtney’s leadership KYRA’s Digital Original team meets our Gen-Z focused audience where they’re already at by launching publishing platforms exclusively on TikTok. Through our owned and operated channels KYRA generates daily editorial-led content across our three core channels, each experiencing significant growth and engagement over the past year since launch with our top channels amassing over 1Million followers each.

Her fascination with the world of production goes back to her early years of life – growing up in the millennial age on the brink of the analog and digital worlds, Courtney often finds herself deep in her thoughts – innovating unique ways to share new narratives while also utilizing emerging platforms and staying true to her artful instincts.

 

With her heart and mind constantly creating, Courtney is an accomplished producer who aims to inspire her fellow idealists to tap into their own unparalleled processes.
